Making a Business Case for Desktop Virtualization:

Ben Reeser

Gain a better understanding of desktop virtualization. What is it and why should you consider (or not consider) this technology for your organization. You will take away key benefits and drawbacks of desktop virtualization as well best practices for introducing the solution to their organization.

 Ben Reeser

  • As Lead Architect for the Virtualization and Storage Practice, Ben Reeser has many opportunities to help companies analyze their technical and business needs and architect the appropriate solution in more than 14 years of technical consulting.
  • The solutions often use a combination of server, desktop, application, and storage virtualization technologies to develop an appropriate solution to the business need.  The same combination of technologies often branches into disaster recovery and business continuity solutions for the most critical of business systems.
  • Reeser has been a member of the exclusive Citrix Partner Technical Expert Council as well as assisted in the writing of technical content for Citrix MetaFrame Access Suite for Windows 2003, Citrix Access Suite 4 for Windows Server 2003: The Official Guide, and Citrix XenApp Platinum Edition for Windows: The Official Guide.
