Pricing Strategically in the Complexity Avalanche

Timothy Matanovich, President, Value and Pricing Partners, LLC

Over the past decade, the role of services in technology companies has grown dramatically. At many of these firms, services have become the primary revenue and margin engines for the business. In his new book, Complexity Avalanche, JB Wood explains why what we have seen so far is only the beginning.  Based on several hours of conversation with Wood, Tim Matanovich will discuss the forces at work and the profound changes taking place in technology industries. Then he will describe how these forces will change the business models of service organizations, especially how they get paid for their services. Understanding these changes will be vital for business leaders to preserve and grow revenue streams and margins.  At the close of his presentation, Tim will have copies of JB Wood’s book available, along with a White Paper summarizing key elements of the talk.
