Implementing Agile in a Waterfall Culture
Michael Wille

If your projects are fixed price, fixed scope, with fixed release dates, you are, by definition, waterfall. But your team can still go Agile for more effective project management. If you can change the company culture to accept Agile, the whole company can benefit, not just your team. Michael will provide an overview of the Scrum process, along with insight into the struggles encountered when the rest of the company has their own process to follow.

Please come ready to discuss your ideas about Agile and share your experiences.

Michael Wille is a Technology Project Manager at Pacific Metrics Corporation. He is a Certified Scrum Master and is currently running 2 technology teams creating software for online assessments for K-12 education. Michael has a background as a Software Engineer, developing projects ranging from touchscreen kiosks in museums to tablet delivered marketing presentations to small business websites.

Michael is also a musician, he used to tour with the Broadway show Blast!, and is currently the conductor for the Broncos Brass, a group that plays at all Denver Broncos home games.
